I always get really nervous with adding fish. I’ve had luck with corals but not fish. So, my clowns went into my new tank, the first fish added, and they’re hiding in the corner above the flow pump. I know full well they might do that but three days seems too much. Any way to entice them away? They’re not eating great in the corner either.

One of the two will survey the corners at least once per day but then parks back with the second in the corner. I’m considering hanging a nori sheet later today.

But any other ideas? Thank you.

Put a clown picture somewhere and they will go to it. Sounds silly but people use it ;)

They are backed up to feel safe. I wouldn’t try to persuade them.
I agree, let them move out at their own pace. Some come out faster than others, but they will explore more as they feel more at home in your tank. Adding some other fish can also help them feel more comfortable.

My concerns stem more from the limited eating. I had them eating fine before they went in. Now only one of the two takes a pellet and it looks like only one pellet with each feeding. I fear their stress will be their downfall with hunger.
