So you guys I need some help. Haven’t had an algae problem in years. This is a new tank. Cycle was wrapped up with no algae. Started my light cycle added rock, then started adding fish and coral (wwc) however within the last two weeks this algae has taken over. Skimmer runs 24/7.

Assorted crabs and snails. Xl-xs blue legs scarletts Cortez. And a variety of snails, nessarius. Ceriths, trocus. No herbivore fish though. Tank is 37g with aqua clear 70 with sponge and carbon. Lights are two kessil h360 tuna

Could you test your nitrates and phosphates. Also tuxedo urchins are pretty good so are short spine but idk about one of those in a 37 gallon.

Using reef crystals 36ppt ca,520 kh,11 nitrateswere 10ppm. Ammonia was n/a/0. Phosphates was. .25. Temp is 78-79 through apex, light schedule is 10hours at 70%

So nitrates are good but the phosphates are pretty high. Your gonna have to try and lower the phosphate. Id recommend either a refugium or the easier and cheaper solution would be running gfo.
