It’s this aiptasia?

I’ve had this plug for approximately 2 weeks. No other signs, just noticed this thing. Through research it kinda looks like aiptasia. Looks like it’s growing from underneath the plug? Tried to get this best pic I could. Thanks in advance!

Try to use some kind of treatment. If you try to scrape it off it will release microscopic particles and infest your tank. If you want to go natural you can get a certain type of nudibranch or a fish that specializes in eating them. Good luck !

If you can pull out the rock you can take a toothbrush to it and some hot water. If not, get Aptasia X, Pickling Lime or Kalkwasser (last 2 make a thick paste). Using a syringe try to squirt some into the mouth or just smother it in the paste. Get it out right now before you have hundreds of them. Don't wait.

If you can take the rock out of the tank, then use some vinegar and brush to scrape the spot, then rinse with RODI water or salt water before reintroduce the rock to your tank.
If not possible to take it out, you can inject it with hot vinegar or lemon, or use some product like aiptasia X.
Don try to remove it inside your tank as it will release spores and problem will be worst.

Thank you all! Rock is removed, tossed the plug (was just gonna be a GSP Rock for my lady). Cleaning as we speak! Y’all r awesome
