My Neptune sensor is just a few months old, and I check its measurements against an Apogee MQ-510, and they are spot on.Demonstrating my stupidity. Even after 40 years of salt water tanks and equipment. .. to calibrate . How is that done. I did a search for apex and can’t find anything. Maybe the Neptune forum
Has some info. My Neptune pmk has been in the tank for four plus years. Cleaned off and on and never really paid attention to it to much .
I'm biased. LOL. I did some free consulting work when Apogee was designing the 510. The sensor is improved and can 'see' the spectrum better (especially LEDs) and thus report a more accurate number. The correction for the immersion effect is also automatically calculated. Now, with that said, the MQ-200 is a serviceable meter if manual corrections are made.Dana. Is the mq-510 mich better than the older my-200. I recall. The my-200. Was not really made for under water ? Thanks
