Don't throw in the towel. 2 and a half months will fly by and your sps will be fine. Just keep your parameters in check. There are foods for corals if really needed. How big is your tank?

50g cube,...I already have pale SPS because I have 0 nitrates and really low phosphates,...I'm not convinced I can raise either of these without fish or maintain my frags? I know of lots of healthy sps tanks that really on only fish poop but none that really on only coral food.

Dose nitrate. Alot of sps dominant reefers do so.

Sorry to hear this. As stated, you can ride it out with the corals and have no fish for the time the tank must sit. You're more than welcome to some calcium nitrate if you like. As far as phosphates, you can add fish food which will feed the corals and add phosphates. There are ways...
