Here’s a pic as requested of the big one in its hay-day on the right, making a stand tomorrow for the sump and my rubber maid bucket that’s going to be about 12 inches of the ground with supporting 4x6 posts with a mdf board on top, been busy these past couple of days with a massive loss of fish from an order we got from a small store and then we also got the wrong coral and also are missing around $250 worth of coral that was supposed to be in the box- I lost 2 helfrichi firefish that were doa then lost a blue spot jawfish hours later then after that a flame hawk fish as well some of the less enjoyable parts of reefkeeping for sure
The tank on the right is now empty and will be mine in two weeks to clarify- that is not my current tanks(they look awful atm uglies hit hard)

The day wasn't nearly as successful as I had hoped. I'm still trying to figure out people's buying preferences. Seems people just prefer overpriced frags to actual reasonably priced colonies.

The learning experience is the best thing and im super happy that you represented your passion thats what matters the more and more you do the better things will get. I would say the corals look amazing and the banner is amazing. Kudos to you and the individuals that helped along the way. What was selling as far as frags are concerned?

Single head hammers small discs of zoas small elegance encrusted sps mini colonies... didn't sell a single euphyllia colony or other lps. I was selling 6 to 11 head colonies...

Just my 2c. Seems like (from what I can tell) at swaps people want fast and cheap. Something they can drop a little bit on and if it dies they aren't out a ton. Plus they like to watch it grow? I think colonies are more of a "specialty item". Harder to pull the trigger due to the cost and risk of loss. Example a single head for 10$ will sell quicker and more often then 10 heads for 50$. Not sure why but it is that way alot of places. Reefers don't do math.

Yep I'm going to post a sale for a few days on the colonies... then once I have temp housing for the frag tank stuff since its now time to switch to new tank coming transfer... im going to chop everything...
