How is it with h Cardinalfish? I know with most fish you want to avoid brother/sister pairs but does dad/daughter or mom/son combos work like with rabbits? Or do they end up like guppies and get deformities after 2 or 3 generations?

Everything I've read says it isn't as big of a deal with these guys. I'm intending to get some outside genes thus weekend.
