True. My boomerang acro rtn's half of the frag closest to the glass within 8 hours of being in the tank on a frag rack. Threw it right in flow, no more loss

leathers don't usually stay glued.
bigger pieces rubber band to a plug or rock.
smaller either in a tupperware with gravel like
shrooms until they attach to something and then
glue to a plug or needle and thread and tie to a plug.
let me know if they don't take.

i'm hoping to add a new scape piece.
the wife doesn't think it will look good. but she really likes the torch and the froggy.
and the torch has gone from one head to three in just over a year.
need to find someone local with a saw that can frag it. that would op #4.
then you can just have one.
