Truth in reefing...

Life caught up with me. I've had a lot going on as some of you know. Kid in hospital, grandson here for a few days, work has been busy... I could make a bunch of "excuses" but really I wasn't as diligent as I should be on testing specifically alk. Had a mass die off in my reef... all parameters are perfect except alk.
Tested yesterday alk was at 5.6...

In 24 hrs I've lost 5 colonies...

Including some that are not replaceable. I'm working to save what's here...

I have run a khg since alpha release (I think this was late 2016 or early 2017) . Nothing but praise for this wonderful piece of kit.
I ran a Trident for a bit over one year and never trusted it's results. The KHG has always been spot on without question.

I'd be interested to learn more... im tech shy. But that bit me in the butt this time...

I am not, and I did have trouble at first. But there's a facebook group that helps a lot with it. The creator is super active and helpful there as well.

My only complaint so far is the longest between tests is 4 hours. But it keeps everything super steady. I replaced reagent on the 18th so my readings were a bit different and i adjusted.

I use soda ash for alk in a container, and the reagent is $35 lasts 3 months of testing in the 4 hour increments.

I have it wireless and sign in on my chrome browser on my phone.
