It was this big... Now its this big...

@Fish Styx - this is someone else's build thread. Or are you one of the types that thinks their own build thread is the only one that matters and doesn't follow anyone else. Hhhmmmmmm?

Nice of you to say hi to Mrs. Fishy. However, the thread is Mr @F i s h y !
Like I said... I'm not too smart. I did hear though, that on weekends and alternating Tuesdays, he likes to wear more feminine attire. I didn't realize it was only Thursday. My bad.

Awwwww... such sweethearts. (BTW - if you have a child with brown eyes, I'd start asking some very serious questions. Now, I'm not saying that it is impossible. Just incredibly highly unlikely. Like winning the PowerBall and getting hit by lightning and seeing a three legged ballerina all on the same day!

Blue is my fav color...

I'm sorry. I tried but was unable to stop myself.

Okay, so funny story.... back in the day. Like, way back in the day I was a club rat in NYC. I ate, slept, and lived the scene and lifestyle. Not only did I frequent the clubs, but I worked in them as well. Bartending, bouncing, DJ, you name it. Anything to make a buck and get access. Anyways, one Saturday night after my set was over in Queens, I make my way into Manhattan to hit the Soundfactory. The party there didn't really get hoppin' until around 4 AM or so anyway. Well, by the time I get there, I was rolling pretty hard, and by that, I mean I was in orbit. So, this is right about the time Eiffel 65 released this track and Jonathan Peters hits us with a remix. Having never heard this before, and being out of my mind, I could have sworn it was saying, "I'm blue, if I OD I will die, if I OD I will die..."

I was like, what the heck?!?! This is horrible... BOOM. Headlong into a bad trip.

Perhaps, though, I've shared too much...

That is a funny story because you lived and are able to discuss the details. I’ve had a couple of bad trips and one was worse than the other. The really bad one was so horrible, in fact, that I was unable to talk or even think about it without staring into heavy anxiety.

Blue came out in ‘98 I think. Man, 25 years ago. Makes me kind of blue thinking that it’s been 25 years. So, simple math means you would have been what, like 19 or 20? You must have been one of dem deer dose rabble rousers with a fake ID.

For anyone interested in feeling quite old: yesterday was the 38th anniversary of the release of The Breakfast Club. W T F !

I'm not saying you're old, bud; but, when you were born the Dead Sea only had the sniffles...

1) Man, if you only knew the half of it. I most definitely should not be here right now. For this, and many other experiences. I'm grateful every day.

2) Yeah, I was a twenty year old kid. At that time though, I had been raving and clubbing for a few years and was well known in the scene. I didn't need a fake ID and never waited on lines.

I didn't even think it was possible to be rolling and have a "bad trip".

Sounds like a fun time to be a scene rat though.

K was generally the "seasoning" sprinkled onto other, shall we say, "pharmaceuticals" like salt. Stuck in a hole, sadly, it most definitely makes it possible.

Ooh how the scene has changed. Dabbled in the early 2000's and the PLUR scene was rocking in full force. Come back to it a few decades later and the music hasn't changed. Still cutting edge but the people and community around raving seem to have changed, A Lot
