A little progress was made today. Better than yesterday and Friday. The flu went thru our house and even I caught it this time.

Plan tomorrow is to prime the whole thing with Kilz and then skin it and prime that as well.

Next steps build cabinet doors. Prime those. Then paint everything in gloss black.

Also on the to do list...
Put trim on stand.
Figure out how to hang lights.
Build sump (cut and silicone baffles)
Paint all elbows and plumbing parts black.

The next to do list is daunting... how do I tear down my existing 8 ft system, house everything, then move my reef to the new tank and simultaneously set the 8ft system back up....

Also have my first official coral show as a vendor coming up so trying to finalize booth set up business cards banners tanks and everything else... im a hot mess... throw in 4 kids a doggo a full time middle management job and my fantastic wife and I barely have time to breath.

I cant afford to be sick and waste any time...
