I have no idea what is going on... this problem started back in February. I have tried vibrant, microbactor7, small water changes, syphon the sand, rowas, chemipure blue, I spent 200 dollars on a skimmer. I was told diatoms, I was told dinos, and recently told cyano, and I tried chemiclean.

I recently did a chemiclean treatment per lfs. They said if it goes away at night it's dinos, if it doesn't then cyano. Water test was 5 nitrates, 0 phosphate

Well I suppose I will syphon the algae off the sand again. I don't know what else to do?

I’m in the same boat. Zero phosphate and .05 nitrate. Cyano is everywhere. I increased my flow, that did nothing. I just dosed chemiclean.

I was told to add more flow and this is how it reacts
