This week I learned that if a turbo snail knocks down a mille, that a ricordia will try to eat said mille.

I learned that AquaSD coral from the livesale was a heckuva deal, and the frags arrived healthier and bigger than I thought they would be.

I learned that no matter how many times I drill a tank that is filled, I still get nervous as heck that I am going to break it.

I also learned that the coral I get from online places, is far healthier than what I can find locally, at least with SPS. I am done buying them locally, almost everything I get here dies, and everything from online, thrives.

Probably a good call. I like my lfs. But the prices are blahhhh

I learned that a blasto frag spending a week face down in the sand while I was away, looked all the better for it... Apparently I was giving it to much light.

I learned that its better to pay for a new tank or have someone that knows more about sealing a tank than doing it myself ...120 gallons leaking from front and my hands are tied prolly gonna lose livestock and coral

hands are tied in what respect?

I learned that I would rather be on here researching and answering questions than fixing cars at work lol. I need to open an LFS...

As in no money to buy a new tank and just worried about what to do when I drain the tank put the sand rock coral and fish in a 55 gallon that my friend is lending me and as far as filter what do I use like just my powerheads hang my skimmer and phosphate reactor on the tank ? Will that work?

I learned.................. that SHARKS pee through their skin.
Even though that we sometimes we were encountered by dives with sharks.

Use water from your other tank to fill new 55. Use the power heads for sure. Maybe find a hang on back filter for now. Try to wash the cartridge pads every couple to few days so you dont build up a lot of bacteria. If you can hang your protein skimmer off the back that sounds like a plan. You may need to add some Prime after stirring up all the sand and rocks. That could up your ammonia and Nitrates. Hope everything works out for you
