She checks out the fish and is like "did we get fed yet?" "hey you, did when do we get food?"
There's a lot more still in the sump. Nitrates are at 0. Trimming cheato to a ball, but i want to keep the life on it. So, thinking of how to get off the pods.
I could call the new reef store to see if they wanted it.

Leave a bit of water in the bottom of the bucket and after a while take the cheato out and pour the water back in the tank.

i shake mine in a bucket half full of water. Beware if there might be bristle worms in it and wear gloves. but this usually gets off a lot of pods and mysid shrimp. then just dump the bucket back into the tank.

Oh, there's a lot of nasty bristle worms in there. I don't touch the algae or rocks now without gloves. My hands will get swollen from the stings now.

That pectinia is looking great! tank is coming along too, still looks better than mine.Pulled near a full bucket of cheato from the sump. Nothing i can do with it.
Things are alright. Something about dinos and acropora though...

Oh, they have amazing personalities. I wont be getting another unless I have a system made just for it. I was very attached to my first dragon wrasse. But, he got big and 55g tank was just not right.
I want to get a space invader. I might visit the new lfs and check out what he has. Only if he wants a 5g bucket of cheato though. Or, i'll hunt a frag down during these lame r2r sales. Well, some are okay.... Most suck.

they're near the top of my fowlr tank wish list. them and a pearlscale butterfly.
got mine from LRO. Tidal gardens has an amazing pectinia they call "night walker" i think. but I don't have $300 for a frag...

Probably easier when you have one of those band saws, right? I don't think bone cutters are going to be a very clean job on that (or mine)...I wish i knew. From the looks of mine, It looks like a pita getting an eye or several safely.
Edit: yup, space invader is the green with yellow eyes.

I wouldn't trust a bone saw on tissue. Bone cutters would leave slivers.

I have 0 ideas why leu is "finning" the eel... I should have cleaned my glass better. My son retired after I got to feeling better.
