I may get a t5 retro kit. Or a hybrid dim-able t5 unit. Led lights just have too much shading.

Yeah I'm happy so far with my t5's even though only 4 tube but not so many corals but doing ok so far but defo need buy a blue and maybe a coral plus to go with the other 2 blue I got and to replace the 2 white sunlight tubes as tank just to white for my liking so need get them and go from there whether want to get any leds to get that colour pop that drew me into hobby in first place

Leds really bring in that pop. T5 is great for growth. I just found out there are retro fit kits for dim able t5's. I would need to figure out how to control them as I don't use apex. So, time to do some research, I believe I could get away with 2 t5 bulbs. 4 would probably be optimal.

Well you made it longer than I did as fell asleep at 8am on couch and rudely woke up around 9pm to my 4 year old jumping on my back and went back sleep and next I know wake up on couch at 8.30 am and didn't even have 1 wet of any alcohol of any description ha ha

Yeah especially our coach as its around 6 years old and way past its lifetime and woke up with dead butt as fell sleep on certain part and could feel the recliner from the metal housing under the seat.
But decided to wait till 4 year old gets little older incase she draws on couch again or damages it in anyway so stuck with this for time being ( the joys if parenthood hey )

we're doing good. I haven't been given a window to really add any updates. I can't move 10" without my son going into a panic. He's better today.

I have had to move some coral around. I haven't been able to snag any decent pics as of late. Nothing new added so no big deal.

I read up on the builds as I can. Glad to see everyone is doing well. Including the pups!

I understand. Got 4 littles and smallest two seem to be perpetually sick during the winter. My wife got a new camera, so I have her old dslr, and still havent taken a pic with it yet! Just got back from Puerto Rico over the holidays (her mom passed away in September, and we took her home to spread ashes) and luckly the tanks survived with my staff taking care of them. My GHA outbreak even cleared up while I was gone. But it sounds like a zoom lense is in your future so you can take shots from the couch???
