It's Just a Tank

ty!

Flukes killed my first wrasse. Just getting back into the hobby, first thing I should have did was find a disease guide. All I thought about was ick/velvet, fin and tail rot and lymph. Flukes were completely new to me. I have kept fish for most of my life. Flashing could be anything. I don't recall if you have any cleaner fish. But, flukes would in a few months claim your fish.
Yeah got a blue streak cleaner wrasse and last fish added more than 6 months ago.think was cbb.
Silver belly wrasse was one if first fish so maybe 10- 11 months ago.but all fish look healthy and active and no diesese signs, apart from silver belly flashes on rocks occasionally but that's like every 6- 8 weeks see it so doesn't concern me that much.
Why you mention cleaner wrasse?
Because could be cleaning the fishes and keeping number if flukes down maybe ?

Yes. But no one to clean the wrasse. Prazi is pretty reef safe. Causes skimmer issues. I dont know if you can get that in your area though.

Seems like can get prazipro from ebay, next day delivery if needed.
Yeah got cleaner wrasse to possibly help clean the fish and thought nothing to clean the cleaner wrasse,so Mrs wanted pair of cleaner shrimp so if cleaner wrasse stays still long enough ,cleaner shrimp could clean it,but doubt it as little cleaner wrasse so active going from one fish to another ,most times other fish let him clean them but often I think other fish are annoyed at him and swim off fast ha ha

Biggest issue with prazi, never overdose. I never seen a wrasse stop at the shrimp cleaners. They just don't.

I'm not even sure if you have flukes. Is the cleaning wrasse the only flasher? Shrimp also can manage flukes.

It's the silver belly wrasse that occasionally see flash, not the cleaner wrasse .
But just could have an itch or bit of sand on him maybe as very often he dive bombs the sand and goes completely under the sand and then picks all the pods / worms out the water column after he disturbed them, that's what it looks like he does anyway.
But I've often thought if flukes would be more often and other fish doing it also which don't see.
And yeah can't imagine cleaner wrasse letting cleaner shrimp clean him ^_^

Your fish are fine. No need on prazi. Fish are strange. My blenny bites her tail once in a great while.

Also, look into the smat farm led's. Correctly spelled.

You were recommend smart farm led over the noopsyche?

I am going to do this though.
My favorite picture.
I haven't taken any other night time pictures. They are difficult to get.

This tree... I fell in love instantly. Fishguy also has a rainbow goni over there. The choices were difficult!

I don’t kno too much about morphs but I think a green tip rainbow anemone is much more rare / $ than the red tip which is way more common. All my rainbows are red tipped

He lost 90% of the green tips. Not a big deal. I do wonder if the splits will have them.

Edit: also, not about worth. I just enjoy watching the color morphing. But sometimes, it's too much. I can't figure out if I am looking at orange, red, yellow.

So, I am going to claim. My BTA is weak sauce. I am sure he was trying to kick the montipora off of the rock or out of the tank and has lost. He is retreating now.

Also, this would make for a nice 40g cube!
Does it look like the cynarina and tracyphyllia are competing on who has the better skirt?
I don't know what to make of this, but sure is weird.

Looking good!

I rarely see fish in your FTS how do you pull that off? Abracadabra? lol
I can barely take a coral pic without having 3 or 4 wrasse mugs in the shot
