It's Just a Tank

Losses really…. stink. Maybe I’m crazy but I think the BTAs look slightly better than yesterday, and at least it looks like it hasn’t ejected it’s mesentarial filaments.

They do stintk.

The mouths if the btas are better. They have not shed any tentacles. They keep expelling mucus. This maybe due to treatment.

As for the goni, i am clueless. They can be fickle little princesses.

I doubt. my btas like the light they are under as well.

Sorry about the anemones. I’ve had some just disappear before but never melt before me. Love em but they can be problematic. My problem corals for keeping would be chalices and blastos in particular. I think they hate me. Gonis for whatever reason I’ve had some fair success.

It's odd how our systems work. I am just having issues getting that one piece to open up. It just does not want too. I don't know the flow or lights it was kept under. It seems to be reaching some polyps out today. Hopefully the iodine dip did something.

I just wish I knew what made my bubble tips sick. They are still in cipro and very pouty. Lots of mucus is being expelled.

If my bubble tips die, I am going to feel very defeated.

You are doing all you can for the bubble tips, but I know what you mean about feeling defeated. I kind of hit a reefing funk after the loss of my RFA's. I haven't been able to snap out of it quite yet. My husband is supportive but I can tell he will be super frustrated if I don't find my way back after we just spent all that money on the new system.

Sending all the healthy recovery bubble tip vibes your way!!!!

Random news @sp1187

One half inflates, the other half goes flat. It's been like this all morning. Before the split, the inferno stopped inflating, but inflated foot to move around.

Still praying they don't turn into mush on me
They look much healthier to me than a week ago or so. They have better color too. I think they’ll pull through. They’re certainly in good hands.

One half is standing, the other, a bit floppy. Water change for now.

It’s going to be a while before they heal completely. As long as they’re getting good light, which with their healthy colors they clearly are, they’ll circle up and heal. I love rainbow BTAs.

I know, we're still fighting infection. That means its going to take a lot longer to heal.

It looks like the treatment is working so far. How much longer does this course of meds have?

With the split, things just got more complicated. 3 more days, I'll do an assessment. If the nem stays inflated, very responsive to touch and gains it's sticky texture back. We're done treating. For now the foot has taken hold of the rock. I call that a win so far.

We're not out of the woods yet.
They responded well after water change. Anything can still happen.
