Ethan knows who I'm talking about. Just took over the stocking forum absolutely determined to put all the craziest fish in his first like 70 gallon tank. Wasn't it like a ribbon eel, a boxfish, a hippo tang, and a school of pyramid butterflies, and many more?? And when I said it was abad idea he would just make his own thread and keep asking till someone said yes. Made me quit the forum for a couple days.

I am very glad I don't see those pists. But this next one is close to that, or worse. Depending on how you view tang stocking.

Unfortunately that's the world we live in. When someone wants a fish you aren't allowed to tell them no. If you tell them no, you better have good justification. If you have good justification just remember that this one guy on TikTok did exactly what George wants to do and you can't tell him it won't work because TikTok is 100% accurate 100% of the time! Plus I read about it once on a reddit forum when someone dropped that comment in passing about how he has 7 tangs and 8 butterflies in a 20 gallon mixed reef and none of them were currently eating a coral or fighting.

He hasn’t been on here for months lol. I’m glad he was told so many no‘s left.

Agrreed, i like my tank terrors. I always have a backup plan to go with them though.

Yep! When that gem tang came up locally everyone’s like you can’t have that with a yellow they’ll kill each other! Uuuuummm watch me! Haha! They could care less about each other I keep everyone well fed and happy! The only terror is the sailfin and blue eye at night time if someone comes near his cave! 2 more gems just came up for sale from the same guy at a good price and they’re about 6” I’ve been biting my tongue

Who needs a super aggressive gem tang when you can get a super sensitive wrasse that looks almost identical?
Honestly have been considering a Desjardini for a while but I kinda like the silly anti-tang soapbox I stand on.

Fwiw the guy with these gem tangs has 7 in a 75 gal! Hahahaha he sold a bunch awhile back but kept 3 in there..

I could not see that posible with powder blues or clowns.

Zebrasoma, are far more chill than most of the acanthus family. Lots of food helps
My clown tang gets nippy at feeding times. Tells everyone to go away. They don't really listen..

I could fit a whole salmon, Maybe even a tuna in my freezer and it wouldn't eat a thing either.
