I haven't tried anything and hopefully wont need too until after a year old.

I think my parents managed pretty well. They didn't use any magical elixir. I think we were all equally scared of dad giving the LOOK.

Sadly, my husband has the LOOK as well. When he is off to work deep in my mind I go "please come back!" As I look at my oldest son. Baby also naps best when he's around.

I don't know how my dad scared us to being quiet. I just know even in our adult years. Instead of shutting up, we all ran!

That was my mom. None of us took her serious and she'd cry to dad "why do they listen to you and never me?" I'm sorry mom.
Dad was the guy "so you're that bored are you? I got some stuff you can do. There's the dishes, laundry, here's the vacuum. While you're at it, scrub the bathroom." Yup, he'd wait us out.
