It's Just a Tank

By th way, I could have hand fed a couple of Achilles Tangs today. It was kinda neat. They were swimming with me on purpose.
Never saw those but really wanted to!!

Mostly saw Convict Tangs - one was close to a foot long! I believe that's about 1 and a half bananas for scale...?

The Achilles were in a small school and I think they were using me as cover to hide from the Sea Turtles. There was one chasing them when they discovered me and started swimming right beneath me.

So that’s a 12 gal tank?

My LFS had this yesterday. Would a 12 gallon work? Might need to lose the lid for the dorsal fin I guess but otherwise should be good right??

I think the 5g bucket would be tall enough

Whenever I see a bat fish, this Sublime song called Bad Fish starts playing in my head, but I substitute the word Bad for Bat. Yeah, makes no sense, but better than the kids songs usually playing on repeat upstairs.

It is a pity that we don't have background music playing during everyday life, like in the movies. That said, I don't think I could handle people randomly breaking out into song and possibly dance everywhere I go.

at 2:40 here:

but found this, which is pretty funny, when I was looking for this movie.

I fed the tank every 2 hours during daylight with the regal angel. Still had problems.

When I run into a problem. I can't stop thinking about why.

The regal angel was only 2" when i got her. She became very territorial.

She's a rock grazer. So, I have kept 5 rock grazing fish. clown tang, scopas, copperband, chrysus, leucoxanthus. Even if the wrasse don't eat algae. They still eat the worms, pods off the rocks. Angels eat those too.

Even after rehoming the clown tang, i got another grazer. Chocolate tang (acanthurus pyroferus).

Regal being small, and wild caught. Probably made her think she needs to be more competitive.

Well, no more rock grazers. I need to get more plankton feeders. I only have one clown. Eli doesn't count as she eats chunks of food.

Tl:dr
i goofed. Tank is at cap for grazers.

Need planktavores
