It's snails all the way down.

So I've got a small CuC in a invert QT.

The Trochus snails are being weird:

They were separate (I think) when they went in the bag at the LFS, and were clinging to each other, like above, when they went into the IQT.

They don't seem to be moving much, if at all.

Is this normal?

They're mostly nocturnal but I mean if they dont move by morning then yea probably dead . Its typical that they do.that in the bag. Remember something is holding them together right now so I mean they should be fine

Yes they will be fine.
You might want to carefully scrape or scrub the shells.

They can NOT tolerate Copper or Medications will die.
I have used H2o2 Hydrogen Peroxide and a toothbrush.
You must be very careful as it will also kill them, like salt on a land bearing snail.

I just hold them upside down dip the brush shake it and lightly scrub only the top.
Not where the snail comes in contact with its shell.
I scrub downward and away from the opening of the shell as not to flick any HP onto the body.
Then I rinse them by dipping the shell only in saltwater a few times.
Snails I do not QT just clean and put in DT.

Right now I'm giving them some pellets, until the Hikari Algae Wafers and Omega One Veggie Rounds arrive, tomorrow.

The piggy backers dropped off and are doing their own snail things now.

The piggy-backee has shuffled off this mortal coil and went to the great beyond (the gravel near a bush outside, where I hope a bird will have a snack.
