Pulled the trigger. Time to see what all the fuss is about. I had a AI sol blue .. bought it the week before MACNA. right before the big price drop. Liked it but need just a bit more spread so I went with the Radions...

I guess I have some catching up to do . I must have missed it when when you went to halides . What happened to the all those vertex strips ?

which skimmer. The JNS sk2 ? This thing is a beast. I plan on taking a bunch of new pics when the lights come in. So I have some reference to see how they do. at $750 bucks a piece I would hope they do just fine.more pics this week for sure.

I was asking about the avast skimmer. The only comments I saw indicated that you liked it, but it was being run at a LFS and to order the clear one. Im working on a 76g rimless project and looking for a skimmer. I was hoping you would advise whether you still liked it on your 75g or thought it was overkill.

Avast Makes killer stuff and are great folks for sure. I would order clear to do it over again. The pumps suites their body nicely. The neck on the peg leg should be upgraded to the neck style on the black pearl. its a good size skimmer and would be good once you are stocked

OK, I did some playing around with my lights today as I didnt work any overtime to get home to play with them and get my items dropped off at post office. With that said... I was able to really dial in what I like. I am back on natural mode and added a small ramp into and out of the day cycle. when setting it up I played around with all the colors a little. If someone wants to see some crazy colors run the blue, royal blue and reds at 100%. you will see some of the craziest looking clownfish ever. The look neon red. just kind of cool really. The complete control on these is amazing. I need to mount mine a little closer together but I just mounted mine up really quick. So maybe Ill stop at home depot tonight and get something
