its time ! Mojo~ it a 75

Ok, Update. I have the stand... lol. Its super nice. Its taller than the standard 30 in stand. Should be nice to raise the tank. That way I can do water changes by dumping the water in the sump and fit a bucket over the top of the sump.

I just ordered a custom DIY Sump from the guys at AVAST. should be really nice. 3/8 in cell cast acrylic. oooo yea. Probe holder, Single sock holder, Nice simple design ,should be a nice clean sump.

The plan is to use the eheim 1260 return, 2x tunze 6045 and a tunze 6015 for flow inside. As much as I love the AI fixture The build just doesnt have the money to back a second one.... lol Ihave to settle for a 4 bulb ati sunpower.... The plan is to integrate some LEDS into the t5 setup. We will see what time and $$ brings x mas is coming so we will see.

Tank is ordered and will be here Friday.I can actually start setting it up next week if I get the sump in and put together. I'll get some pics coming.I did get the inside of the stand painted with white epoxy paint.it dries rock hard and is resistant to salt creep.

I have the TANK !!!woot. I even have about 50 lbs of Marco rock, And just ordered some of there Marco cement to glueit all together. We will see how it goes. Sow some of this at Macna and you can make some really nice pieces with it. Ordered the 10lb bucket.

The tank looks really nice. What I expected really. The overflow is a bit large but I knew that already. other than that its a pretty good buy. The 3 side panels have a royal blue tint to the edges. But clear to look through. You can tell the difference between the front and back panel when looking through it agains a white wall for sure. All in all I am pleased thus far. Might go out and cut the start board tonight to fit the bottom of the tank. then I am just waiting on AVAST to send me my custom sump pieces so I can glue it together. Probably about 2 weeks out on getting this thing rolling.

Ill snap a pic with my phone while out in the garage.

The aquascape looks great Mojo! When is it going to see water?

The sump from Avast is suppose to be here tuesday. Then all I have to put that together, paint the back of the tank and mount the light tree. Then it should see water.

this is going to be a nice build!..

mojo: question for ya.. How is the build quality, on the deep blue? I am possibly thinking about gettin that 80 gal frag tank they make, just curious if i should go a different route, or go with them.

That tank is nice, I am suprised that it is as nice as it is really. The silicone is good. The overflow is a bit large but it comes with a cover and the plumbing. Ill be able to give amore honest review once I get water in and take a peak at it.

I will be. just havent got that far just yet. Maybe tomorrow.

I traditionaly do black. I would guess Ill do the same here. IT will help the overflow blend in like you said.

ola! Why not do something different like a shadow box back? I'm sure you know how.

Looking great Jesse. I am excited to see what it looks like with some water in it.

Thanks Dave, maybe in a couple more days

WEll I am one step closer to water. I got the sump put together. I had the guys at Avast cut it all out 3/8 cell cast. Then all I had to do is put it together. This thing weighs like 48lbs. Really heavy. Its 32 by 16w by 15 tall. Has a skimmer sock holder with a 10 in baffle for that chamber. The skimmer section in the middle has a 8in height. then the bubble trap and return pump section. So Now back to working more OT. Still have to mount the light tree and paint the back of the tank. Once those two items are complete I can put it in place and add water. I am hoping to paint it here in the next day or two. %

Here I snapped a quick pic with my phone.
