I have lost two fish now, to what I can only assume is parasites. I did not see any outward signs, other than what appeared to be physical trauma and some shredding on the fins. I lost my Orchid Dottyback first, then my bicolor blenny. They both show erratic behavior, and lost of flashing against the rocks, and the blenny would even turn and bite at his own tail.

I am nine days into treatment with PraziPro, and will do a water change today, and start a second treatment dose.

The question I have right now is:
Since I have an airstone in the tank during the treatment, I am getting TONS of salt creep...all over the lid, lights, and over the rim of the tank... should I just wipe that off, or should it be added back into the tank? I tested the salinity this morning, and was surprised to find that it was still close to baseline at 34.

On a positive note, my Diamond Goby is still doing fine, and shows no evidence of flashing since I started the treatment. (he had started flashing a bit against the sand bed before I treated.

Just wipe off salt creep. The aur stones will do that lots of popping bubbles.

Don’t put the undissolved salt crystals back.
While the symptoms do sound like flukes, what is the complete fish list for this tank?

As of now, I have the Diamond Goby as the only remaining fish. I also have some inverts; Fire shrimp, 2 emerald crabs, assortment of hermits and snails.

Sounds like the first two fish may just have had too heavy of an infection of flukes, and the diamond goby got caught in time (not all fish suffer from flukes to the same degree). I would just go on with the treatment as planned.

Wipe off and you can place saran wrap over the area where the airstone is emitting surface spray and bubbles to retain it
As for assumption of fish disease or issue, polease post pics under white lighting

Fish are dead and gone. I posted pics in an earlier thread when the Dottyback first started showing symptoms, and Jay agreed that it looked like trauma. As stated, they did not really show any outward symptoms other than behavioral. The Blenny did have some swelling around his head/gills when he died, but it was not visible before that. He was quite lethargic the last two days before he passed. The Dottyback hid in the rocks, and I never saw him again.

Spend money once buy aquaculture breeded quarantine fish only cost more but saves on stuff like this and they will survive with no parasites. Don't but fish straight from ocean that causes problems for the whole tank and you.

Wild-caught fish aren't the problem, though: it's the collection, shipping, distribution, and storage methods at LFSes that cause the problems.

In any case, I cover my airstone in my QT with the styrofoam lid from a cooler. It does a great job of preventing salt creep.

Will PraziPro cause an algae bloom? I have had an explosion of diatom bloom and even a bit of cyano since I started the treatment. However the tank is just about 2.5 months old also, so I suppose it could just be moving into the "ugly phase" as a natural progression.

Well, I have finished my second round of PraziPro treatment, done another water change, and added some carbon to my filter. So far, Diamond goby is still looking great, so I think I caught him in time. Sad to have lost my other two fish, but I will take it as a learning lesson.

Not going to add any more fish for a while, just to make sure the goby remains in good condition, then may add a pair of clowns.

Maybe it was the quarantine set up you have, it's very weird for fish to die so quickly under 'quarantine'.

I would change your method of introduction of any livestock as apparently it is not working.

Your post has too many variables and questions need to be asked but in my honest opinion, Don't Add any more livestock, don't add any more fish until you resolve this issue
