My fiancé James and I already have a 90gal reef full of coral and fish, been running a over a year now. Been wanting a nano cube for a while to put an RBTA & 2 black Clownfish in. Went to Petsmart this past Saturday (11/16) and found this Aqueon Evolve8 on sale for $39 ..needless to say it was too good of a deal to pass up! We also bought a 5lb bag of live sand and a small heater to go with it. It won't be for an RBTA and 2 Clowns though. We set it up Saturday night with saltwater from our 90gal, live rock & live sand. Last night we ordered a BeamsWork Ultra Reef LED clamp-on light (6 leds - 18w). Going to add a small frag of zoas from our 90 to it to test out the lights on it, they're only 4w. Water is clear and looking good. Thinking about getting a Tail Spot Blenny, cleaner shrimp and maybe a small goby. It'll be such a cute little reef!

Hello Crystal and James. Looks good. I had bought one of these myself and really liked it at first but...... you will see the acrylic scratches really easy so be careful when cleaning it up. I saw you posted you are getting new leds and pump, what did you decide to go with? Recently switched mine to an Innovative Marine 8 gallon. Wish I would have done this sooner. Please keep posting pictures and keep us updated.

Thank you! It's not much right now but it'll get there :) Yeah, we're aware of the scratching, definitely being careful. We got a Team Rio 200gph pump & some locline

We got this light

I'm in the process of setting up a 10 gallon and was looking for a light similar to that, or going with a par 38.

Nice! Par30 or 38 would probably be best but those are a little pricey, just depends what you want to spend right now.

Exactly what I was thinking. Since i only want softies in it I may be able to get away with something a little less that the par fixture
