jabao gyre cp-125 question

I am thinking about buying a jabao gyre cp-120 for a 120g. I am wondering if I mount this on the side will it circulate the whole tank and eliminate deadspots, or should I buy 2 and mount them on opposite ends. I am using a uniclife mp-40 currently and it is way too powerful on the lowest setting. it also does not get to the corners on the side it is mounted unless I turn it up and it blows the sand all over.

It's difficult for one pump, even a big one with lots of flow, to eliminate all dead spots in a tank. IMHO, having used a couple of gyres, I've gone back to using 3 wavemakers and I think overall I have much better and much more random flow.

I have the cp-150 on my 180 and should have went smaller. The 150 moves ALLOT of water. I have it turned down to maybe 30-40% and it borderline too much for some of my LPS.
