I'm starting to put together my reef tank and I'm wondering if one of the New jabao rw-4 will be enough flow or if I should purchase another one to make more of a wave motion for my potention corals? I have heard that these create a lot of flow which was the reason I didn't go with the rw-8. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

what type of corals do you plan on keeping and whats your return flow rate?
I plan on keeping all different types of corals up to and including sps. I know that they love random flow in the tank, hence my question on flow I guess. I think my return pump will do 940gph. Does that help? Not really sure of exact corals yet but I know I want to keep sps eventually.

I have the rw-8 in my 60 gallon and it's too much. I have it at its lowest settings and it causes me to really place corals properly. I will be going down to the rw-4's when I get a chance. But I'm also considering the maxspect gyre 130. Different price range I know, but it's very interesting in the number of methods you can place it. Something you may want to look into as well if pricing is not an issue. But if I look at the number of flow pumps I have bought, it would be more than the cost of one Gyre. Food for thought, but the rw-4 will be plenty for your tank.
I hesitate to mention it, but I suggest maybe slowing your return pump flow too. You've got just over 18 times turn over rate. Depending on the type of sump you have set up, slower flow will yield better results for your sump activities. Let you in tank pumps do the flow work and let your sump do it's sump work.

Wow thanks for the advice. Yeah it's my first tank so I'm kinda taking it slow and steady. That includes my spending haha. Basically I bought the sc 50g cube with sump and skimmer included as well at stand. I will be posting a build thread when it all arrives. Just making sure I have everything I need.

my best advice is to read read and read - there's a lot to learn. I always considered myself pretty advanced aquarist until i signed up here less than a year ago and quickly down labelled myself to barely above rookie lol. There's a lot of great stuff on here and homework is key to making your tank work out the way you want it to. I'll tag along on your build thread for sure!
Oh I definitely agree with you. I have been researching and reading for probably about 8-12 months. Finally had some extra tax return money to jump into the hobby. I'll keep everyone informed. Thanks again.
