Just looking for reviews....I was running the actual electrical saving cost of mag 12 (115 watts) vs DC 6000 pump (30watts) on my broodstock system and it would be about $11.83 per month with my existing horrible Nstar KWH cost at about 19 cents. $125 for the 1 DC 6000 pump or $250 for a backup means 11 or 22 months I break even or to be safe call it 1 yr or 2 yr payback and month 13 or 25 and beyond I am in the black 10 bucks or so per month. Now I have full confidence in the mag pump...they run FOREVER and are built like tanks that require virtually NO MAINTENACE in my experience.....I have many concerns about the DC pump failing/ leaking electricity and things like that and I am having a hard time pulling the trigger and sacrificing my extremely expensive livestock investment....Just wondering if there are any long term 1 year plus owners of these pumps???? If these pumps are built to just run and are potted extremely safe just like a mag or eheim, tunze and do not pose any more threat of problems than any of the said pumps this is no brainer purchase.... I also may have answered my own questions and will just run the mag....just wondering if anyone has reviews or have seen other forums longer term users?
