OK so I recently purchased this doser and hooked it up.dialed it in and setup the times and amounts needed to maintain. Well I noticed my levels were rising with these numbers, come to find out that this doser is siphoning the additives even after its done with it settings. I came home today to can empty bottle of calcium ***. It dosed 900 ML in 24 ours and I set it to dose 20 ml

Never had a problem with mine. Just curious, is your dosing container higher than where you are dosing it to? Are you dosing by your sump and are your containers higher than your sump?

how long the doser u have been use?did the doser set up lower then the additives?

The bottles are right next to it

I would say that will siphon it. I assume the end of your dosing hose are below the pump and the containers. It is doing it by gravity after the pump stops

I would suggest bringing the pump and the containers lower than where the end of the dosing hoses are located prefferably inside your stand by your sump

I want them inside just tight for space.thsnks I will figure out something to change the setup.

Ok guys so it's been awhile since I posted.
A little update. I raised the dosed above the bottles and I can only get one pump to right. The others are still siphoning. I'm at a loss what to do now.

Doser should be on shelf with the bottles below the doser. This is important in the model of pump that these cheap dosers use. on the output line you can install a check valve so that the liquid doesn't back siphon

Doesn't a check valve keep it from siphoning back into the dosing bottle? How does the check keep it from siphoning out of the dosing bottle? Isn't that the direction you want liquid to flow, don't get how a check helps here.

If you raise the end of the tube above the level of the bottles it should not siphon.
Optimally it should be holding bottles low, pump middle and end of tubes above all. Another note. I have my check valves near the end of the lines to keep the lines filled and give a consistent dose.

Right check valves are close to the ends of the lines to keep the fluid in the lines. With the check valve in the output it keeps fluid from moving in either direction.
