So I can't seem to get these pumps optimized I have a ow-25 and 10 in a 40 breeder and my fish seem to hate it. I'm working on an sps tank but the fish don't swim nearly as much when I turn the pumps up. I've switched between w1 about 30% and they like it but normally I keep it in else mode 50% roughly and thats when every one hides out. position wise I have one them facing each other with one a few inchs higher then the other but is there anything I can do to make this better for my fish?

I have a W-40 and W-25 in a 75 gallon tank. You cannot adjust the flow in "else" mode. It randomly powers up and down to create random waves. You can only adjust the flow in w1 and w2 modes. In my tank I have one on the side panel facing slightly up and towards the rear panel at about 50% (the W-40) and the other one in the middle of the rear panel facing slightly upwards and towards the front panel at about 40-50%. Both are on w1 mode. Hope that helps

I have a 38 gallon running 2 ow-25 one on each end, put them centered about 2/3 up on glass angled to the surface, i run C mode with a 10 second interval on the lowest setting linked master and slave so they alternate, fish tolorate it, coral loves it, it creates random flows
