This is my Puget Sound Biotope. I collect everything in the tank myself, let me know what you think.

thats pretty sweet. any plans for fish... i know there are tons of little bottom dwellers out there...

I have seen some pics of the crazy stuff in cold water. Would love to have one but might be a little expensive here in florida. I mean just getting the stuff shipped in would probably not work. But awesome tank!

Thats cool! LOL

Thanks!

Yea I have plans actually. I am looking for two fish specifically, a Spiny Lumpsucker and a Grunt Sculpin :)

Yea I have seen most of those things in person :P Yeah it is basically necessary to live close to the ocean, there really aren't that many CW livestock dealers.

Jacob - that is a beautiful tank. There is a person here in Louisiana that is also running a coldwater tank, though I am sure getting specimens is a challenge for her, living in Louisiana. Here is her thread, FYI. Maybe you can help supply her with goodies from the Pacific NW!

You definitely have a nice tank going there. Different and awesome. I've seen it over on NR now here and it looks nice as ever.

I have to log in to see that but I think I know who you are talking about. Lalani on NR right? And thanks!

Thanks! Yea I am a more common poster on NR but I thought I would share my tanks over here a little.

Very cool! What temp do you keep it at? Do you run a chiller 24/7?

Yup the chiller is always on ;) It kicks in for 10-15 minutes of every hour or so then shuts back down. I keep my tank at 57 degrees :)

Awesome looking stuff! I love the coldwater tanks!

Thanks! Me too, they are rare and unusual which is even better :)

that's awesome! Is that a Plume Anemone? Or I think some call it a powder puff or frilly anemone? I want one!! :D
