I just wanted to throw out a discussion thread on the new DC pumps that are coming out from Jaebo and the Aqua link controller they released. I'm pretty excited about the ability to control this through my Apex and also looking forward to the upgrades they made to their DC line of pumps.

Looks like this their 3rd iteration for the DC pumps... DC--->DCT--->DCS.

I'm also not sure what the aqua link controller is all about yet but it looks like you'll be able to control your DC pump speeds and allows you to link to your Apex. It also has a port for you to add a battery backup and has some ATO capabilities if you hook up their ATO sensor and a pump to it. Very interesting indeed.

Any thoughts?

Saw this at MACNA and it def. increases the control of the pump (by % not light 1-5)...the new one is very quiet and from what I was told, with the new impeller, you no longer have to worry about cleaning the magnet, as the impeller prevents most of the water from getting back behind it (not sure if I buy this explanation/claim, but that's what I was told).

Thanks for the feedback from Macna! Thats very exciting to hear. I may go ahead and pre-order this just to try it out. At worst, I can always go back to my Sicce Syncra 12.0 or my backup backup, Reeflo Hammerhead Gold. [emoji4]
