A while back I got a jebo wp25. It was used and did not function properly. Pulse action would not restart once it stopped after about 2 minutes. So I kept the pump on the slow incline and decline function and it worked quite well. Still happy with it even though it would not do everything that it could.
Recently I traded with somebody who had lost their system after 25 years do to fire. Gave them a whole bunch of flags almost everything that I had. In return I got a stronger return pump which I needed greatly a dc- 9000. There was still leftover value to my end of the trade so I wound up getting a WP 40 for $25. Again used but almost new condition. All the functions work properly And I cannot believe how powerful this pump is. I have a 75 gallon display which was running the wp25 and two large koralias.I eliminated all three other pumps when putting this one in and it was still too
strong. Pounded everything in the front of my tank. Eventually I wound up putting it in the back of the tank on the bottom pushing behind the rock work. It pushed all the sand out from behind my rock work, which is fine with me as I like not having stuff collect back there anyway. It was no longer pounding the corals really bad but still had a very strong flow through
the center of my tank in front. However I had one corner of my top water that was flat. So I put the wp25 back in the top corner. These two pumps are fantastic together. And are enough flow for my whole tank on they're weakest settings. The random funcrion setting is awesome! Only bad thing I can say is the wp40 is a bit loud. But that's fine. Tv overpowers it
