Ever wonder why you can't get a good picture of the coral in your tank? Or why everything is so DARN blue? We've got answers for you!

We have an interactive session planned where you can practice using your own cell phone and/or camera as well as some handy tools to help you along.

All you need to bring is yourself and your phone/camera.

We will have an awesome raffle including several coral frags, photo accessories, and an Avast Porthole to help get those great top down shots in your tank.

Please tell your friends because this is going to be a fun meeting!

See you there and Stay Reefy!

Sunday, January 21 at 5 PM - 7 PM
Next Week

Lutz Children's Museum
247 S Main St, Manchester, Connecticut 06040

I won't be able to make it this month. Are we recording and streaming it like we did with Justin's Lab?

So for raffle prizes, we are going to have a few different coral frags and
An Aquariclip for taking awesome photos with your phone, with No Blue

We're going to have an awesome camera tube from Building an Obsession. Originally, we were going to go with the Avast Porthole, but after comparing designs, the BAO version will surpass the Avast with the add-ons available soon.

This can be used with your cell phone also.

It allows you to take awesome top down shots in your tank without your camera getting wet.

And we also have a neat little package.

UltraPro Tripod with Universal Smartphone Mount for All Smartphones and Bluetooth Wireless Remote Control Camera Shutter.

This will allow you to keep your phone as still as possible to get sharp photos by not only using the tripod but using the wireless remote.

I would love to attend these meetings but Manchester is a bit far from where we live.. does ctars have anything towards fairfield county?

We try to vary the meetings once in a while but most of them are in Manchester.

Reason being is free meeting space that accommodates a large crowd, sometimes there are 30 or so people.

Awesome raffle items Nichole. I burned a vacation day for this LOL. Definitely want to grab one of those camera tubes if I don't win.

I didn't see a trade thread, are we still doing those?

I"ll bring a frag of gobstoppers and bumblebees for the raffle as well.

Oh man, glad I checked back in. I think I'm going to have to make the drive to this one.
