First off I'm sad to let this eel go..
I've had it for around 2 years now. I got it when it was 17 inches. Is around 32 inches now and 2 times as thick.
When I bought it i was able to reach out to the actual diver that got it. He found two in the same cave. He got both. With that being said. It was the brighter colored one. There is no way to tell if it's male or female.
Feeding.. it gets feed fresh fish 2-3 times a week. It's been on 2 hunger strikes since I had it. It has been around the same time in November-December. They are known to have more but I've only seen it twice..I keep it a non closed tank it has nother tried to get out. It will let you know when it's hungry. It will come to the corner of the tank and just wait half way up.
It does have a few tank mates
