I've been looking for a weeping willow toadstool for a long time. I got someone getting 5 Japanese neon green toadstools in soon. And was wondering are they weeping willow toadstools?

Haven’t ever seen or heard of a true weeping willow that was green….

Also the name weeping willow seems to be thrown around these days for any long polyped toadstool. If you like the look then go for it. Don’t worry about the name.

Here was mine when I first got it 9 months back.

Just purchased this Neon green Weeping Willow Toadstool one month ago at Coral Farmer’s Market in Phoenix. I saw it and grabbed it!!! The name above is how it was advertised.

He said it was a Japanese neon green and he'll get 5 so hopefully there are some longer poly ones

Hello Guys,
Got a Question about these Special ToadstoolCoral "Weeping Willow"

Is that Coral shown in the Video a possible Weeping Willow?

As with all of these fantasy names, why do you care about it? Do you want it because it's hyped and you want to own the name? Do you want it in the hope it is going to look like in a picture you once saw? Do you want to sell it for the name?

I have the japanese ones. Or ones looking exactly like that. They are awesome, have wavy long tentacles, and glow. Won't look anything at all like a weeping willow though. The name has just been coopted because it sells well. Still happy with what i have though.

I think the name for these just helps someone identify that the tentacles are not the normal, but extra long and sweeping.
Well the one in the reefbuilder pictures is actually weeping and drooping like a weeping willow tree. If that is what you want, the "japanese" ones won't do it.

You can get one to do that without flow if the polyps are long enough. Probably how it was photographed.
