Jared's Rainbow Milli Progression

Yes ti is a fast grower, he has excelent coral I have a huge order comming from him. I will take pictures of my coral.

So what are you guys dosing to get fast growth on this piece because clearly my growth is not quick.

I am unsing the balling method from fauna marin. It is on a dosing pump which keeps all my leves dead on. That is it.

Snapple when I said grows pretty good for me I mean it encrusted over plug to the rock and started to branch a 1/4 inch or so when u get single stalk sps it's gonna take a yr to encrust fully start branching out and probably another yr to really turn into colony/ mini colony! Sps for most part grow very slow there r those exceptions to the rule there r a few guys

Out there that just do unbelievable things with there sps tanks ! But for me and most a am frag like that take well over a yr to turn into colony maybe even more!

This is a pretty cool idea and I could be wrong but I don't think I saw many progression pics since you started. :)

Only 2, any more and the growth would be unnoticable, the base has grown about 1/8" from the first pic. In my 4 months of having it ;)

as long as your leavels are dead onnothing changes and you do water changes that thing will grow for you. I never had a problem with encrusting fast and then slow shoots comming out of the corals.

Agreed. Josh, (1Snapple) when I said its a slow grower what I meant was that it's not fast like a stag. I would say thought that as far as growth rate, it's below average. For yours to take 4 months to start encrusting, there is something else wrong... Even my purple monster grows faster than that! Assuming your system is healthy I would look into stability. Every time your salinity, ALK or calcium rises and falls even slightly, your sps will use energy to adjust. If your system is rock solid then your acros can just focus in growing. Just my two cents. Mine was fully encrusted and had a 1/2" growth rim after online a month. My mini colony probably would be at least 50% bigger if it wasn't for a horrible tank move that completely bleached it out and almost killed it.
