Just ordered this from a vendor as a frag. Never heard of this specific morph before and I don't see much information out there on it. I'm assuming a pocci is a pocci, easy care with high flow and light and a chance for reproduction when not wanted.

Anyone come across a jasmine dragon before or have experience with it?

Sounds like a fancy marketing game for neon green poccilipora like you would get from ORA. Do you have a picture?

Def not Green.

Another picture from another seller with the description as follows... The Jasmine Dragon Pocillopora is a fuzzy sps coral with deep pink/purple/red polyps. Depending on the lighting and conditions, the centers of these polyps may apear yellow.

Looks like a Poccilopora Damicornis of some kind (pink/green). Can do well in a variety of lighting conditions, but shows best color when under medium-higher light. I have had a few varieties over the years and they grow fast and can spread babies throughout the tank with polyp bailout if stressed. If you want to see more of that pink/redish color, you’ll need to give it some daylight color lighting to see it. Blue lighting sort of hides that color.

Yeq I figured it's a damicornis of some sort. I know all can have polyp bailout and spread but seems the green ones are the worst offenders from what I've gathered. Not sure if its because they're the most common or if it's because they're more prone then the others.

I have heavy blue early morning and late evening but run a whiter spectrum mid day. Plan on placing pretty high and am hoping to get a nice pink similar to a pink Stylophora. Always loved that coral but never had luck with the pink stylo ever growing for some reason.

Regardless it should be arriving tomorrow so we shall see.

How does it look in person?

Kinda meh at this time. Not much color and mediocre PE but very much alive. Placed it up on a frag rack for now and we'll see how it does. Hopefully it colors up with some light and TLC, otherwise to a frag tank it'll go.

Interesting. Let us know how it looks in a few weeks.

I ordered a large order in from 2 separate companies. Multiple acros, 2 birds, 2 poccies, a stylo, and a few lps. Everything from both companies looked great with great PE in the bag and decent coloration. Some of the acros need to color up but I can see the base colors and PE in all. The pink lemonade acro, birds, stylos, Montis, goni, hammers, Duncan's, lobo all look like they've been in my tank for weeks within 24 hours of settling in.

Interestingly both poccies have very lackluster coloration and poor PE. 1 a rainbow and the other this jasmine dragon, and 1 from each company. I see polyps peeking out but nothing to write home about. If they don't color up they're some of the cheapest in my order so I won't be heart broken but hopefully they show some nice colors in time.
