Jason Fox management and corals colors

Hi everybody !
I'm an Italian fan of your forum and of jason fox corals (they have fantastic colors). However, in my reef I can't even get to the colors he gets (not even getting close to me). I describe my tank:
- 200 liter tube 60x60x60
-two AI Hydra26 HD lamps with 9 hours of light (24%: white, red, green, violets and 100%: blue; royal; uv) + 1 hour sunrise / sunset
-two moving pump (Maxspect Gyre GP03, and CoralBox RN1)
-sump with skimmer, zeolite reactor and fluid bed filter for activated carbon.
I use the bacterial reproduction of Zeovit and food with Aquaforest products.
The values (constants in the tank) are 1440 mg, ca 440, kh 8.5, no3 4, po4 0.
I run weekly water changes of 5/10%.
I have inside some Acropora (RR Lady in pink, Yellow Hornet, Bubble gum, Psycoberry), some euphyllia (Golden torch, anchor, etc) and some rare zohantus.
How can I get to her extreme colors (or at least get closer)? Management advice? On some particular integration? How does he get to those colors?

Hi Allesandro - I wonder if it might be because PO4 is too low at 0? I went to a presentation Jason gave last year and he said he keeps his PO4 at 0.08. If you are using the full Zeo system then you are running on purpose with low nutrients, but Jason's colors come from from a higher nutrient system I believe.

You could always dose whatever you need to raise.

Like Zachary said. When I need to raise PO4 I use Brightwell NeoPhos. There are many options I think. I was reading a little on Aquaforest before I replied here. It seems that their system is designed to strip nutrients very low and then you would dose several of their products to add nutrients and minerals back into the water. I don't really know if dosing additional phosphate will create a problem problem when using the Aquaforest system. But , it does seem to me that using the Aquaforest approach would give very different colors than Jason got with his high nutrient approach (maybe more pale/ and pastel color, like the Zeovit system is said to produce)

The biggest factor is lighting. A local reefer I know has two forms of lighting on his tank - normal and the ones he uses when showing off corals. Absent that, none of these colorful colonies will look the same under more natural light. It's true on natural reefs as well.
