Hello R2R,
After many nights & i mean many nights of reading posts and threads and seeing awesome tank posts i have decided to join this group.
I usually stay away from online places as much as possible just not a high tech savvy guy but i couldn't resist all the useful info i see
on here day in and day out. I started in this hobby 14 years ago at a younger age and much dumber age were i bought what was cool,cost the most
and had no clue how too take care of much of what i had,i know shame on me lol. After about 5 years with that 55 g tank i did take a break for about 3 years and came back with what is my 125g now actually 170 with the 55 gallon sump. Its a mixture of lps,sps and softies and about 9 fish so far as i have really taken my time with this tank to make up for my ignorance before. I have taken in a lot of great info and ideas from reading threads on this site.
Too date as my tank has been online since March 2013 i have only lost 1 coral and 2 fish out of 11 fish and about 28 to 30ish corals. I am really proud of that too. Also seeing i had a beautiful baby boy come into my life last November and still being able to keep my tank running makes me feel even better about it all, not to brag because my tank looks nothing like what i have seen on here , lol but from my past its a big step up.Any who just wanted to give a little about me and why i have joined. I look forward to meeting new faces and learning lots more as a member of R2R. Thanks again :smile:
