Never really looked at video of them before, but you can see plenty of pods in that and I guess he grabbed one while I was taking this. I'll try and take another one later..looks like he was out of focus for most of it.

Thanks, but I don't understand. Most likely to raise? Most likely to eat maybe?? I moved them at birth to a different tank if that helps. About 150 of them and we are down to about 15-16 I think.

This right here is the cutest sh** I've seen in a long time. Added a little bit of sand and now you can see how small they are for reference. Little guy made himeself a burrow already.
Added more copepods and nano brine shrimp...overloaded. Did a water change 2 days ago...need to be careful now as they majority of them are on the bottom and I use a siphon to clean the detritus off the bottom.
I think there are 15-16 left and this is day 36.

Here is that same baby doing burrow maintenance...he can only fit one pebble of sand in his mouth at a time. All babies are down on the bottom now and have claimed a piece of rubble rock..sometimes sharing. Lost a smaller one over the weekend, so I think we are at 14-15 now. Getting harder to count as they aren't in the water column anymore.

Here is my baby JF colony. Haven't seen anyone take prepared foods yet, so still not in the clear yet, IMO... still seeing plenty of copepods around, so I hope that is enough. Nobody is swimming around anymore, so I hope the food is abundant.
Just received a brine shrimp hatchery setup..going to get that started. Still feels like I'm behind on sourcing food for them, but it does appear they went through metamorphisis as those be looking/acting like JF now.

Everyone is still alive, settled in...have a few sharing the same rock. I hope they aren't going to become mated pairs...not sure in the fish world what happens then. 
Did my first batch of brine shrimp...fed some 24 hour old ones and also fed macro algae to the container for 2 days and then fed those...all of them. Now working on a 2nd batch and will grow these for 3-4 days before feeding.
Been siphoning massive amounts of poop from the bottom and watching ammonia levels. Not sure where we are at in the process, but they aren't taking frozen foods yet or even micro pellets, but they are active and def living the JF life.

Day 56, week 8.
I stopped dosing macro-algae last week sometime and started feeding live brine shrimp and some attempts at baby frozen brine. Tank obviously looks much better now and I think all the rots are gone. I think the tank may have cycled at some point as the ammonia indicator is now in the safe zone, having backed off without a water change. That was an unexpected surprise I'll take and continue to monitor.
Had one fatality late last week, really bummed me out, as I had to remove it...these are fish now. At least with all the earlier baby deaths I never even saw them..they just vanished...but this was a dead fish on the bottom. :/
The boss and I are in discussion about what to do with these 13-14 JF if they make it. I may create a species only tank. Not sure if there is a market for captive bred JF, but I'm attached to these and want to see it through and see how they do.
With that said, the JF couple keeps going at it, male has eggs again..this is like batch 10 or something like that.

Regularly feeding brine shrimp and some copepods. Have another brine shrimp cone coming to keep up..will try and grow some out in a separate container once hatched. Feels like they could use larger ones that are enriched with macro algae. Tank comes alive once I drop in the brine shrimp.
Ammonia levels still non-existent...tank needs the bottom siphoned though. Nice little colony of baby jaw fish.
Ohh and for the observing type, towards the end of the video the JF on the right poops and then eats/spits it out. yummy.

Not yet. I did drop some micro pellets in which a couple caught them, but spit out right away. I need something that stays suspended as they freak out when the turkey baster thingie gets put in....or perhaps I just need to keep doing it to get them accustomed to it.
I'll try again...would be nice to get them eating non live. The Brine shrimp are easy, but it's not the way forward, as I'm sure you know.

yeah its so much easier once they start eating prepared. Try dropping some frozen in while feeding live. You can get a few types of enriched brine now. Just add a small amount like an 1/8 of a cube at first. This typically how I got clowns off live feeds. Then slowly started adding thing like flake and pellets. Pellets seem to be the hardest to train them to. Im sure pellets feel so foreign even if it tastes like food.

Made a decision to build another tank, just for them. This one will also be plywood bottom and back. 84" x 30" x 22". 4" to 6" sandbed throughout, with small rock formations scattered..to mimic shallow sandy areas. Won't be the most glamorous build, but will be very entertaining to watch
Have the glass quote and should go a little smoother with some lessons learned from my first build. This time I'll wait to receive the glass before I build, apparently my local glass company has a problem with the tolerance I need.
So still planning it out and will want to give it a couple more weeks to try and get them all on prepared food before I start the build.

10 babies still alive, lost the smallest one. Still feeding them brine shrimp, nano and several day old ones. Actively working on their new tank. Stand is built, the tank plywood is all built. going to start Bondo Resin today/tomorrow. Will be doing the resin and pond armor out in the garage and then the wife and I will get the tank into the basement to install the glass This will minimize the odor and keep the house out of an uproar.
Haven't really made much of an attempt to ween them off live foods yet..they are eating well and growing.

Update: new tank build is coming along. Pretty much have all the gear, working on finishing up the sump build. Found a leaky 125g on Craigslist and fixed it up. Filled it up with water and it was bowing pretty bad as the plastic cross braces were broke and my RV Silicone hack did not hold, so made new braces out of 2x4s. Going to leak test again once I get the braces on. The rest of the Euro bracing glass should arrive next week and then I can really start to get this going.
Babies are all eating frozen brine/mysis now and I have stopped live feedings. Still 10 and they are very active and eating well.

Here are two videos I took last night. Their new tank is coming along, filled up about 75% right now for a leak test, working on the plumbing from overflow to sump and then sump to return jets, then will do a complete fill with circulation as a final test before draining.
They eat frozen mysis, frozen copepods, some of them eat rod's food fish blend..some just play with it, and some eat frozen squid too. I use a small pipette to feed them and they come up to it and start nipping it before the food is out. All 10 are shown.
