Hello I have a 20 gallon cube and I was wondering if I could put a blue spot jawfish or any kind of jaw fish in there and if they do ok solo because when I SCUBA dive I always see them in group I have no fish it the tank currently (a ammonia spike killed my fish) I was thinking if the bio load for the fish was to big nutrients wise I could dose a nitrate and phosphate remover

it could be done, I had one in a 15 gallon for almost a year but then it jumped. Its a fantastic fish with a great personality, I tried another one but it jumped too on the second night, they are jumpers, even through the smallest opening. Just have a sandbed deep enough for them, at least 4". And match the water temp of course, not sure where you are scuba diving, but whatever that water temp is, you will have to match it, or acclimate it carefully.

I was talking about scuba for fun not taking things I have a tight fitting lid do you think it would be very hard

no, they are easy, but the blue spot is a colder water fish, I think about 75-76 naturally, check on that. Yellow head is from down south so normal reef temp around 78
