Jawbreaker Mushroom

Hi all,

I just bought what is called a jawbreaker on eBay from Mr.Coral. Looking online I noticed that some call it a tye dye while others call it a jawbreaker.

I bought this one,

I just wanted to know what to call it exactly.

So how would the jawbreaker or tye dye look different?

The one below starts out orange but later develops into all these colors.

It could definitely be a jawbreaker, my LFS has one that just recently started getting a couple red lines in it, so keep an eye out for small red areas to peek through

Very true, yeah mine just started getting some red in it and it usually take a year or so before you start seeing any green.

Good to know, I will definitely see if any colors start popping up. How long does it usually take for the colors to show up.

Correct mine started out orange and is a little smaller than a quarter and finally started getting some red

Hard to see but there's a small red dot to the left of the mouth down a tad bit

according to my friend it was as vibrant as they came on the rock. all babies and adults have the same color through and through

i got the "jawbreaker mushrooms" from Mr Coral from eBay in the past too and they aren't them. they are mislabeled. i tired finding an id on them once i got them and the closest i found were iron man mushrooms. Also got some locally after that and was told they were jawbreakers too but they too ended up being iron man mushrooms.

Nope, they are just mislabeled.
