Jawbreaker progression thread

Question what do you guys do when jb outgrow the plug they are on? Try and move them or are they ok hanging out on the sand

Looks incredible. Not sure if you are a great photographer or it’s a solid coral or both. Super cool

6 years of growth from a baby. Over 100 babies spawned. Purple spots. Bay area grown.

I have about 50 some are picking up green the darker one is the parent . Size rage from ¼ to 4inch for some reason they grow like weeds for me

My tank crashed twice from neglect and mine kept growing. Its very hard to kill a mushroom....even these jawbreakers. I think the reasons why they are so expensive is because indeed as they age, they get more intense patterns. I finally had two babies grow with vibrant red streaks almost immediately after appearing which was odd and still dont have an answer as to what causes this. My first jawbreaker took nearly a year before i saw any red and 2 more years to see any green! Now 6+ years later its got purple.......Amazing.

Sold this one back in April. I still have 2 babies from it.

I put mine in a basket of rubble rock and frag plugs. They climb around on whatever. Its fine in the sand too. It may detach and float around until its happy if its not.
