Jawfish with swollen eye

Only fish in the tank that has this issue and with only one eye. Thinking this is pop-eye. If so, what course of treatment can I do inside the reef tank?

Its likely an injury or scrape to eye. Depending on severity, you may need to treat in separate tank using Maracyn as shown below

I would not recommend. Instead use Ruby Rally pro which takes longer but safer to use. Maracyn can be applied low dose but a risk

alright. I have that on hand, however never used it. Any recommendations on dosing take it it is not something I can add to food and selectively feed him? It’s a 125g tank, 140g total system.

I agree, the eye issue is likely an injury. I don't see any sign of infection, so I wouldn't treat that.

However, the jawfish is breathing deeply and fast. At first, I thought that was just because it was frightened from being filmed - but a scared jawfish would retreat back into its tunnel. Since rapid breathing is a symptom and not a disease, you often can only just rule some things out.

The first thing to do is add some aeration to the tank (by an airstone, not just water circulation), Then, run a full water chemistry panel to make sure everything is in order.
