I went the semi fixed solution due to a few factors. It is a semi finished basement room that we barely use and I will most likely be utilizing that framing to make a bookshelf for the kids every growing collection of books. Also the amount of electrical and plumbing in the way would have been a pain for try to add sistered joists.
 
Added an adhesive black background to the Sump to hide the wires going into the sump.

I just paid $400 for it two weeks ago and painted the back black. Hoping to get around $300 or so.

I think I remember reading a thread where there were bubbles in the seems that only were noticeable when filled. After the tank settled they went away. I tried looking but couldn't find it unfortunately.

Will this be your aquascape?

One of my all time fav tank of the months on reefkeeping.com utilized this approach, it allowed his hard coral to form all the structure. Something I will try when I upgrade.

No this is just the rock I am adding to the 60lbs of live rock that will be transferred over from the 55 gal.

All this is yet to move over..
