Jays reefer 250 v3 build

Your ATO container will pay for itself in a day !!! Get at least 5 gallons more like 10, synergy reef has them. B-)

Definitely want a 10 gallon which is why I got this little cabinet to fit it the stand didn’t have enough room for that size lol

Super late but yes I have the only thing I don’t like about it is having to reset it when the internet goes out
You can plug the Apex into a battery back up like they use for computers, they can be fairly inexpensive look at Walmart. You can also plug in the 12volt power-supply from the brain into a BBU too. Both options release you from the need to reset the Apex after a power-out.

Forgot to tell you if you have your Apex's 12 volt brain-only hookup and your modem plugged into a Uninterrupted Power Supply, you can have emails sent to you went the power's out. Here's a UPS for $34.

Jaycobb,

Love the build so far! Have any more pictures? I'm especially interested in what the stand looks like once you have all your equipment hooked up. How much space do you have left in the stand after fitting the TS26?

Did you give the v3 sump a chance before getting the Synergy sump? I've heard the new Red Sea sump is pretty decent.

Thanks,
