How strong is his stuff? I’m about to start my aquascape for my 135g acrylic tank. I plan of having some overhangs. But most of my shelf rock are larger pieces. I planned on have some rock on top of them to help hold he weight of the over hang. Just curious is the water weld is fairly strong?

I use it a lot for securing frags and I'd almost put securing in quotes as it will not stick unless really squished into crevices. Once it is cured it is super hard but it really never sticks to either surface it is stuck to.

I would not trust it to hold down rocks which wouldn’t stay in place without it. The putty needs superglue to hold things and superglue doesn’t hold heavy things in the water. If you want something legit, look at Marco cement (Marco 400). It dries hard as rock and you can make whatever shape you want. It’s not super cheap but worth the peace of mind. You can also use rods to hold stuff in place if you drill the rocks properly. I used driveway markers from HD
