I've seen multiple conversations about attaching live rock to live rock, or large frags to live rock - whats your success with JB Waterweld/Superglue.

Most importantly - avoid the haywire skimmer!

Thanks-

I am going to try not to use waterweld on my next tank. It's annoying to use and I've found that it crumbles over time. I'm going to do superglue and maybe try the dental type adhesive.

I used JB Waterweld with great success, so far. My tank is still brand new. For overhanging pieces, I used JB and drilled holes for fiberglass rod to help support. This is the first I heard of JB crumbling over time. Gonna have to cross my fingers this doesn’t happen because 95% if my structures are dependent on it.

Now, I’m a terrible role model, but this (tank looks bad ATM aaaaand it’s not a beauty shot, so I made it black and white... hehe) is my little experiment. It’s held up by 10 grams of gorilla superglue-has been for a couple of months. Just to give you an idea, and I DO NOT endorse this.:D
