JBJ 10g fpp drilled for sump?

Has anyone drilled a jbj 10g fpp for a sump? I have a cheap 10 gallon and a 20 gallon tank that I was thinking of turning into a sump. I'm super new to reef tanks and I would hate to mess up this tank ($$$) thanks.

Only going to use one of the other tanks as a sump

My Humble opinion is on the upside drilling for a sump will increase water volume and help to keep your system more stable, on the downside it doesnt seem like a big enough display tank to go through all the trouble. Just my opinion though and i say do whatever makes this an enjoyable hobby for you

I have thought the same thing but I'm kinda limited on room and I would like my display tank with as little stuff as possible. Also I'm using this smaller tank as a learning curve so when I do have a place where I can have a big tank I will be familiar with sumps

Then I say go for it, why not? Can you use the 10 as a sump and the 20 as a display?

I could use the 20 as a display but it's just one of the cheaper Walmart tanks which is ok but my jbj 10fpp looks a lot nicer.
